US Nationals at Skydive Arizona finish up.

The Nationals is in it final stages today. Awards are happening after a really long week of waiting. Most of the teams and people have gone home so tonight's awards and party will be small.

An interesting fact- I was heading to the mock up and tried to put my helmet on a hook but found that the entire back side of the mock up was cover with Sky Systems helmets, any questions what the competitor chooses.

Check out the results and Tidbits on

Tuesday August 8

Today started out like all the other days, cloudy and raining. Around 2:00 pm they started jumping. But it was very slowing going.  We jumped at around 7:00.  Hayabusa had an OK jump but held their ground in the 3rd place race.  They are still tied but now with the Russian Sky Panthers. Fire the US 4 way team now in first.  Airspeed is in 2nd in the 8 way race.

Check with the links below for the updates and scores.  Plus more photos coming.

Luca Smith after wishing his dad a good jump!

Monday August 7- OK the day started out great, no clouds but a small breeze. They fly 4 loads and the clouds rolled in. We went on ANOTHER weather hold. And then the wind started blowing hard enough for the clouds to move out.  So we started rolling again.  Airspeed 8 way got up and the winds picked up big time and we went on ANOTHER weather hold, imagine that. They have not sent one 4 way open team up or finished  the first round of the women's class yet, Interesting. They also will bring another Otter in to help finish the meet when the weather clears. YEAH about time they bring in a THIRD plane!

Check on Sky league or Omniskore to see scores.  I will be posting some more photos soon.

Sunday August 6-the weather is wonderful, time for a Go Fast & back to the hotel. The forecast isn't to good for the next few days.
